John Ressa – President and Chief Operating Officer

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Ressa leads and manages the day-to-day operations of CORDEV. He has responsibility for CORDEV’s overall competitive positioning, business development, customer relations, communication, employee development and recruiting.  He has 28 years of experience in system design, integration and management.

Mr. Ressa was Group Vice President and General Manager of ManTech Test Systems, Inc. where he managed major system and software development programs, including implementation of a certificated and registered ISO9001:2000 Quality Assurance System, and a level 3 SEI-CMM software development organization. He also directed a Software Process Control Group, chartered to improve software development maturity.

Mr. Ressa is active in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and served on the System Engineering, Automatic Testing Committee for the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). He holds a B.S. from Syracuse University and an M.S. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, both in electrical engineering, and instructed at Northern Virginia Community College.
